About the role
A precision subcontract machining business near Reading is looking for a CNC Setter / Programmer to work on close-tolerance components for aerospace and medical customers.
Responsibilities
- Setting and programming CNC machining centres from engineering drawings.\nProving out first-off components and adjusting offsets.\nWorking to tight tolerances on small to medium batch work.\nSupporting continuous improvement of cycle times and tooling.
Requirements
- Time-served or apprentice-trained machinist background.\nAbility to programme at the control (Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens).\nConfident reading engineering drawings and using inspection equipment.\nExperience of small batch, close-tolerance work.
